Short Sale Origination
Rand Title has a new program to assist agents with Short Sale Origination. Here’s what we promise:
• Open escrow at listing with Buyer to come
• Provide property profile with GI and mortgages
• Issue opening letter to Listing Agent and Seller to facilitate authorizations and document round up
• Accumulate documents electronically
• Encode package with loan numbers
• Do initial pre-audit when contract is received
• Submit package to Lender’s Loss-Mitigation Department
• Follow up twice a week until Lender acknowledges and accepts the package.
• Notify Agent and Seller when the Short Sale is ready for negotiation
